Welcome to Fall Semester 2025!

Welcome to the start of Fall semester! We’re so glad you’ve decided to join us at Trade-Tech. As you begin your first few days here on campus, we want to share helpful information to you get settled into the new school year. Here are some things you should know: 


Welcome Center (Bridges to Success)  

Are you looking to get your student ID card? Need assistance resetting your password? The Bridges to Success welcome center is your one-stop shop to get you all set up and headed in the right direction. Visit the Welcome Center at The Hub/D3 Building during the hours below. 

Location: The Hub/D3-105 
Monday–Thursday: 8 am–6 pm 
Fridays: 8 am–12 pm on Cranium


Counseling 

Unsure of which classes to take to reach your educational goal? Make time to speak with a counselor for academic guidance. During the first week of the Fall semester (September 2–6), Counselors will be stationed in the Library/D3, second floor.   

Monday–Thursday: 8 am–6 pm 
Fridays: 8 am–12 pm  


Parking 

Parking permits are $27 per semester and are available for students to pick up at the Business Office located on the first floor of the E5 building (service windows 11–15) during regular operating hours.   
 
Business Office hours:   
Monday–Thursday: 8 am–6 pm    
Friday: 8 am–12 pm      

Please note that students are not permitted to park in spaces designated for faculty and staff. Vehicles that are not displaying proper permits will be cited starting September 15. 


Metro Go Pass 

Go Metro! Did you know that LATTC students ride for free on Metro buses and trains? Pick up your Metro GoPass for the academic year by September 30, 2025!  

  • Stop by The Welcome Center (D3-105) to take your student ID photo and pick up a current semester sticker. 

  • Complete the annual Metro GoPass application by visiting bit.ly/lattcgopass26   

  • Visit the Office of Student Life located in the Tom Bradley Center for Student Life (C2-105) to pick up a Metro Tap Card and GoPass activation sticker (10 am–5:45 pm). Passes can also be picked up in the Welcome Center during the following hours only: (Tuesday–Thursday) 8–10 am; 3 pm–5:45 pm. 

  • Activate your Metro Tap Card and enjoy your free rides!

Tutoring

Free in-person and online tutoring is available to all LATTC students across a variety of subjects including Math, English, Chemistry, Biology, Basic Skills, and more! Visit the Tutoring Center during their hours below.

Looking for a bite to eat between classes? Visit the Culinary Arts (E3 Building) for delicious meals prepared by Trade-Tech's very own Culinary Arts students or the on-campus food truck by the Tom Bradley Building (C2 Building) during the hours below.

Bookstore 

Pick up your textbooks, school supplies, pathway uniforms, and even sport your LATTC pride with college-branded apparel from the College Bookstore.

Student Health Center / Via Care 

LATTC students are eligible for healthcare services through the college’s healthcare partner, Via Care Community Health Center. Students can receive healthcare services on campus at our Student Health Center, at the Via Care East Cesar E. Chavez Clinic, or via telehealth.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm 
Closed weekends and holidays 
Drop-in or call the LATTC front desk at (213) 763-3767 to schedule an appointment. 
All services provided by Via Care. Staff are LGBTQ-friendly and Spanish-speaking.
