The 100th Anniversary Gala began with a cocktail reception, followed by a seated dinner, program, and music from the Inner City Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles (ICYOLA), the nation’s largest orchestra dedicated to empowering youth from underserved backgrounds through music.

The evening's dinner was prepared by student and faculty of the college's Culinary Arts pathway
“We are deeply grateful for the support shown at our 100th Anniversary Gala," said Dr. Alfred McQuarters, President of LATTC. “For a century, Los Angeles Trade-Technical College has partnered with community organizations, labor unions, public agencies, and industry to prepare the skilled workforce that powers our region. The funds raised from our gala event will help support our students who meet regional workforce needs, including Los Angeles’ rebuilding efforts by training workers to restore neighborhoods and infrastructure after the wildfires. Honoring labor leader Yvonne Wheeler and alum Herb Nadel made the evening especially meaningful, reflecting the values we champion every day.”
The gala celebrated a century of student success as LATTC marks its 100th anniversary year. Since 1925, the college has been a leader in preparing the region’s workforce in industries that drive the local economy and uplift the Los Angeles community. Today, 100 years later, LATTC remains true to its founding mission of career education.
