Courses that are accepted by other colleges and universities are considered transfer-level. Most entry-level English, mathematics, and statistics transfer-level courses have prerequisites that are equivalent to high school-level coursework. The placement process uses information from your application to determine which prerequisites you have already met and which courses are available as a result. Once your placement is complete, you may enroll in corresponding courses that are required for your major.
Your counselor can help you determine which courses are required for your major and how to plan your enrollment in them. And your instructors can help you succeed in them once the term begins. In addition, tutoring and many other forms of support are available if you need them. Regardless of where you start on your path, we are confident you will succeed, and we are here to help.
