GAYpril at LATTC: Showcase & Resource Fair

LATTC presents and afternoon of LGBTQ+ networking, education, advocacy and entertainment. The college will have its first ever Student Drag Showcase, along with a speaker series on queer and trans Rights, the importance of queer representation in media and modern society, as well as a history of drag and the trans movement. There will also be a resource fair from local queer advocate organizations that are open and available for networking. All are welcome; food and refreshments will be available!

Pride Month is a month-long observance dedicated to the celebration of LGBTQ pride and commemorating the contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) culture and community. Though typically observed in June in the United States, many colleges host a series of events in celebration of ”GAYpril” when more students are on campus.
