UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA

New! The UC online application is available on August 1! Early access gives students time to learn what information is needed and prepare the personal statement and narrative statements. The application filing period remains the same: November 1 -November 30.

CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY

With 23 campuses, almost 447,000 students, and 45,000 faculty, the CSUs are the largest, the most diverse, and one of the most affordable university systems in the country. Applications are open October 1 through the deadline of November 30: www.csumentor.edu. To check for various application dates, go to: www.csumentor.edu/filing_status

PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES IN CALIFORNIA

The Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities represents 75 private and non-profit institutions, including over 135 satellite campuses throughout California. Schools with an * are AICCU member institutions. www.aiccu.edu. These schools, as well as private schools listed, are making education attainable and affordable.

OUT-OF-STATE UNIVERSITIES

While the main campuses of these universities are located throughout the nation, many have California centers and degree programs online. Check out these schools - many of which do not charge application fees and may waive out-of-state tuition. LATTC graduates have transferred on to several of these four-year schools!
