Get to know your New Student Portal

LATTC along with LACCD has launched a new student portal. The New Portal will allow you view your class schedule, academic deadlines, apply for graduation, swap classes, add courses to your shopping cart, make payments , view financial aid and much more.

Here are some things we would like you to know:

If you have trouble logging in to your student portal and are not able to reset your password please stop by Bridges to Success Center with a picture ID (CA ID, Passport, High School ID etc.) to receive assistance.
You MUST make all enrollment payments (health fees, registration fees, tuition fees) ONLINE using either a Debit or Credit Card. Business Office will accept cash payments only.

  • Q: Who do I contact if I forget my login information?

    ​Please stop by Bridges to Success Center with a picture ID (CA ID, LATTC picture ID, High School ID etc.) to receive assistance with email login.


  • Q: What is the Class Number?

    ​The 5-digit number that identifies the class section is known as the Class Number (CN). You will need this number to add a course.


  • Q: Will there be Registration workshops to help me navigate the system and register for classes?

    ​Yes, we will advertise registration workshops starting the week of May 15. You may sign up for Registration workshops via email Bridges@lattc.edu , by phone (213)763-5560 or in-person at the Bridges to Success Center (MA 105).


  • Q: Can I register before my registration appointment?

    ​No. Registration/enrollment appointments are not negotiable. You cannot enroll in classes prior to your registration appointment day.


  • Q: How do I know if I have holds that will block me from registering for classes?

    ​Please log in to your student portal. The top of your student portal will display any holds you may have.


  • Q: Can I use an Add Permit to add a class?

    ​No, LATTC will no longer be processing add permits. You must add your class using your online portal. If you would like to crash a course please attend on the class the first day it meets in the semester to ask for a Permission Number to add the course. The instructor is the only one who can provide you with a Permission Number. Please do not share or destroy the number. You may stop by Bridges to Success Center to use the computers for adding the course with your permission number.


  • Q: How do students add classes once the term begins?

    ​If you are not on a waiting list and would like to crash the course please attend the class the first day it meets and ask the instructor for a permission number. The instructor will provide you with a permission number based on available seats.


  • Q: Do Permission Numbers expire?

    ​Yes, permissions number will expire at the end of the regular registration period.


  • Q: Can I give my permission number to someone else?

    ​No, permissions number may not be shared with anyone else. You must either use that number to register into the course or let the instructor know that you are no longer interested in adding the course. Students who give/sell permissions number may be faced with disciplinary action.


  • Q: Will students be able to pay online in PeopleSoft?

    ​Students will be able to pay their bills online through their student portal by credit card or e-check. Business Office will take cash payments only.


  • Q: Are fees assessed immediately?

    ​Student fees are calculated after a student adds or drops classes.


  • Q: Can I pay before I register for classes?

    ​LATTC requires payment only after you register for classes.


  • Q: If I change my mind after I register, will my classes automatically be dropped?

    ​No, students are not automatically dropped from classes. It is the student’s responsibility to drop classes.


  • Q: How do I drop my class?

    ​Please visit your student portal to drop your intended course. If you have trouble dropping the course online please stop by Bridges to Success Center for assistance.


  • Q: Will I owe Financial Aid money if I drop after I receive the aid?

    ​Yes, you may owe back Financial Aid money. Contact the Financial Aid Office regarding amounts owed.
