113 Electronics Laboratory I (CSU)

Instruction and practice are given in general shop safety, care and use of hand tools and power tools, soldering techniques, hardware identification and use, chassis layout and forming, printed circuit techniques, components, color codes, symbols, direct current circuits, and measuring equipment. The student constructs and analyzes series and parallel RC, RL, and RCL circuits, and becomes familiar with A.C. measuring devices. Special emphasis is placed on care and use of the oscilloscope, and measurements of various wave shapes.
