The Student Employment Center assists students in finding full-time, part-time or temporary jobs. The center provides employment information to alumni related to their academic/ vocational program. Students may obtain information on Internships, working abroad and summer employment. The center also maintains job bulletins from: City, State, County, the Federal government, School Districts, and private industry and holds an annual Job Fair where students may meet prospective employers.
Individual employment advisement is available upon appointment as well as assistance with resumes and cover letters*. The Center is located in the C-Building, Room C-107A. Office hours are from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Fridays. Appointments may be made in person or phone, (213) 763-7124.
*Computers and printers are available for students to use for completing their resume and cover letter.
Employers seeking employees who are unable to attend the Job Fair should fill out an Employer Request Application and mail it to the Student Employment Center at:
