This workshop provides an overview of classroom assessment practices. Participants will learn the principles of classroom assessment, how classroom assessment differs from grading, the benefits of classroom assessment to the instructor and student, steps for conducting classroom assessment, and will garner tools and resources for conducting classroom assessment. At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will have the knowledge and tools to be able to implement classroom assessment techniques and to reflect on and improve classroom teaching practices.
