Crime Prevention

Sheriff's Department has initiated an aggressive approach
to crime prevention and is pleased with the results of
this effort. Law enforcement departments do not, however,
function effectively without the help, cooperation and
assistance of the community it serves. Accordingly, the
Sheriff's Department develops special programs designed
to eliminate or minimize criminal opportunities and to
encourage all members of the campus community to be aware
of crime prevention practices. Officers routinely make
presentations on personal, vehicular and property protection
at new student orientations and, upon request, at other
college activities and events. Flyers and other written
materials are also distributed. |
