Because of the nature of the College and
the close cooperation with business, industry and alumni, there
is an ongoing scholarship program available to students of the
College. In addition to the availability of college-wide general
scholarships, various Departmental scholarship opportunities
are offered to students majoring in those areas.

NURSING/HEALTHCARE SCHOLARSHIPS: The
Health Professions Education Foundation
announces their Fall 2004 Scholarship and Loan Repayment Programs
for students in the Healthcare and Nursing Professions. Program
deadline is March 24. Program information and applications
are available for download at the HPEF website.
LATINA SCHOLARSHIPS: The
National Latina Alliance (NLA) is offering scholarships to
assist latina students in attaining education that will help
them secure a stable financial future. Latinas currently in
college with a 2.5 GPA should apply before the deadline of
March 31. For more information come to Financial Aid Office
for an application packet.
Sallie Mae Fund Unmet Need Scholarship
Program
Apply now for the 2004 Sallie Mae Fund
Unmet Need Scholarship Program. To qualify for the scholarship,
students must be U.S. citizens, have a cumulative GPA between
2.5 and 3.0, have a family income of $30,000 or less for 2003,
be enrolled full-time and have unmet financial need after
2004-2005 financial aid is awarded. Students can download
application packets from the Sallie
Mae Fund website or come to the Financial
Aid Office. Scholarship deadline is May 31. The last day to
get assistance on campus is May 28.
Grants For Foster & Former Foster
Youth: The California Chafee Grant
Program gives money to foster youth and former foster youth
to use for college and vocational school training. To find
out about eligibility requirements and to obtain an application,
contact the California
Student Aid Commission or the Financial Aid Office before
April 30.
