Employee Recognition Luncheon Honors Service to LATTC
Longevity and a commitment to this institution were clearly evident at this year’s LATTC Employee Recognition Luncheon. Awards were given out to Trade Tech employees with 10, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years of dedicated service to this college. Emceed by the stylish Elton Robinson, catered by Steve Kasmar’s culinary magicians and coordinated by Lori Hunter and her amazing committee, the event gave us a chance to honor some of our colleagues who have committed so many years to make this college what it is today. It was repeated time and time again, that Trade Tech is among the best places to work. That was evident by the number of employees receiving plaques. Even instructor Mohamed El-Tawansy grabbed the microphone and talked about his first year on campus, more than 30 years ago. It was a great event, and next year we will celebrate its 20th anniversary! 080506 |
