Trade Tech Plays Host to Local Graduations

You may have noticed that our gorgeous Grand Theater has become the place of choice for many of the nearby schools celebrating graduations and promotions. Literally thousands of students are coming on campus, and we are using the opportunities to keep Los Angeles Trade-Technical College on their list of choices after high school. Last week we hosted several graduations, and one of the largest involved Southeast middle school. That brought a crush of visitors and one dignitary, Los Angeles county supervisor Gloria Molina. She commented on the beauty of the Grand Theater and how wonderful it was to showcase the student achievement. She met President Chip Chapdelaine and thanked him for allowing neighborhoods to take advantage of the theater. She also offered her help at the county level, in making sure the theater is available for future events. 070621
