Grainger Earmarks $5,000 for LATTC Scholarships
Grainger has donated $5,000 to Los Angeles Trade-Technical College to support students enrolled in the Construction Technology program. The donation will provide for two $1,400 student scholarships in 2007, one $1,400 student scholarship and one $800 faculty scholarship in 2008.   “We are proud to continue our tradition of supporting the industrial trades by sponsoring scholarships at Los Angeles Trade Technical College,” said John Nishanian, District Branch Services Manager, Grainger.  “We believe one of the best ways to invest in the future of Southern California  is to invest in its people.” Grainger, which has a strong tradition of giving that dates back to the company's inception, has been serving businesses throughout Southern California for more than 70 years, supplying them with the maintenance, repair and operating supplies they need to keep their facilities up and running. 070615
