Trade Tech Graduates Class of 2007
LATTC Class of 2007 was the first to graduate at the L. A. Convention Center.Graduation 2007 at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College was a smashing success. It proved to be a day filled with excitement, pride and history. For the first time ever, the school's graduation took place in the gorgeous Los Angeles Convention Center.

That capped off a full slate of activities starting with the Graduation Brunch. The students ate and mingled and talked about their experiences at Trade Tech. The students were addressed by President Chapdelaine and VP of Student Service Ramon Castillo, who set the uplifting mood. Finally outgoing ASO president Eddie Ramirez introduced the brunch entertainment, humorist Luis Torres and comedian Rudy Moreno. Torres joked about his experiences as a radio reporter and a professor. Moreno who is a headliner at the Commerce Club opened by saying he knew he had arrived, because after HBO and Comedy Central, there's nothing like playing the cafeteria at Trade Tech. The graduates roared their approval and laughed hysterically for 20 minutes as Moreno joked about everything from marriage to NFL referees.

ASO president Eddie Ramirez was cheered as he encouraged his classmates to celebrate their day. Finally more than 400 graduates walked up to the podium, shook hands with President Chapdelaine and walked off, to the cheers, shrieks and applause of family, friends and loved ones.

Graduation 2007 turned out to be a milestone event! Much thanks needs to be given to graduation committee chair Dorothy Smith whose hard work and organization led to an historic event…one of the best graduations in school history! Congratulations to the class of 2007!
