The Team You Love to Hate Wins Again
For the fourth year in a row the team representing physical plant took home the trophy, but the real winners in the 18th annual LATTC Trike-A-Thon are the children and students of the Child Development Center. Over $2,000 was raised from entry fees and the sales of tee-shirts, popcorn, candy and other goodies and souvenirs. The money goes to the student parent scholarship fund.

The adult competitors watched and picked up riding tips while the children rode their tricycles and scooters around the short track. Twelve teams representing CalWORKs, Code 3 (Sheriffs), ASO 1, ASO 2, Copy Center, Lifeguards, Physical Plant, EOPS,  Jefferson Demos, DSPS Inter-pre-na-tors, Fire Station #10 and the Child Development Center rode in the event.  Although they did not ride, the Culinary Arts Department made a generous pledge.
