ASO Hosts Granddaughter of Civil Rights Leader

Christine Chavez spoke in the ASO Lounge on March 28th as a part of the Trade Tech celebration of Women's History Month. She shared about her life growing up as the Granddaughter of civil rights leader Cesar Chavez and how his work fighting for the rights of farm workers impacted her life. She spoke about his priorities to educate, engage and empower people. Her hope is that we would all work together to protect the civil rights of others.
