Trade Tech Parking Structure on Schedule
Trade Tech students returning for the spring 2007 semester were greeted to the sounds of construction as they found the new 822 space parking structure on the east side of Grand Avenue well under way. The structure is scheduled to be completed in time for the fall 2007 semester. The companion Child Development Center being built just to the south on 21st Street is also on track. The buildings are scheduled to be completed in time for the fall 2007 semester. During construction the children are being housed in a temporary building near the gym. The campus has temporarily leased 250 spaces from the Glory Church north of the campus and another 250 spaces from the hospital to the south. See map.

In late January ground was broken for the construction of the new ramp leading to the F-Building roof-top parking lot. This ramp will allow entry from Flower Street and will replace the old ramp, which is entered from 21st Street .
