Trade Tech Takes Three Textile Trophies
Trade Tech students got a taste of the real-world competition they will be facing after graduation at the annual Textile Association of Los Angeles (TALA) scholarship luncheon held at the Los Angeles Fashion Mart Wednesday, November 29th. Each year leading fashion schools from around the southland are invited to compete head to head with one being selected overall winner. Students at each college are pitted against their fellow students and winners are selected from the individual schools.

Pictured are winners from the LATTC Fashion Center along with their fellow students. From left are: first place winner Jorge Rosas, Susie Hopper, Lalaina Duncan who garnered third place, Karina Wong, Uyen Nguyen, second place winner, and Annie Huynh. Student garments will be on display at the Gold Thimble fashion show, to be held in the Grand Theater on the evening of Friday, December 15.
