LATTC to Inaugurate Chapdelaine as New President
Los Angeles Trade-Technical College will inaugurate its new president, Dr. Roland J. Chapdelaine on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 in the college's Grand Theatre. Dr. Chapdelaine assumed the role as new President of LATTC August 1, 2006.

The Board of Trustees of the Los Angeles Community College District selected Dr. Chapdelaine as the new president in May of 2006. He has held increasingly progressive positions in the community college area for over thirty years. “Chip”, as Dr. Chapdelaine prefers to be called, is passionate about the community college movement, believing that the creation of the Community College movement was one of the most important actions taken in the history of education. Dr. Chapdelaine brings wealth of knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm to the college from his presidencies at Cuyahoga Community College and Rock Valley Community College.

Students, faculty and members of the community are invited to attend the ceremony beginning at 11:00 am. 061113
