Chinese & Korean Educators Tour LATTC
Trade Tech recently played host to delegations from both the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Korea. Vocational education administrators from several schools throughout China and a delegation from the Korean Foundation of Polytechnic Colleges toured the campus. They were treated to a behind the scenes look at the automotive, diesel technology, electronics and fashion design departments. Speaking through interpreters, LATTC instructors explained the various programs, highlighting the technology used to prepare students for the workforce. While visiting the automotive department, the visitors were treated to a demonstration of an automotive air safety bag. While touring the fashion department, several members of the Chinese delegation discovered, and spoke with Cheng Huang, a third semester fashion student, from their home town of Shanghai. 061103
