California Electronics Educators Meet at LATTC
The LATTC Electronics & Computer Technology Department recently hosted and coordinated the conference of the California Council of Electronics Instructors (CCEI), a 41 year old professional organization dedicated to promoting high quality electronics technology education in middle school, high school, proprietary school, community college, and university settings throughout California.
The primary objective of the organization is educational in nature. The aims of the organization are based upon the need to the increase of knowledge in the theory and practice of electronics as it applied to communications, electronic control, medicine, computers, space projects, industry, and other applied fields, and related arts and sciences as well as the dissemination and explanation of improved practices in the organization and teaching of electronics technology.
Kudos to the Trade Tech faculty who presented workshops: Eric Chavez, Electronics Department Chair, Walter Taylor and Shawn Cyrus, Electronics instructors and Bill Elarton, Electrical Department Chair. 061020 |
