The Los Angeles Trade-Technical College Foundation was incorporated under the laws of the State of California to promote and assists the educational programs of Los Angeles Trade-Technical College. The organization was established as a nonprofit public benefit corporation. A ten-member Board of Directors governs the activities of the foundation and provides leadership for the college's fundraising efforts. The board membership consists of business and community leaders and members of the college staff. All board members volunteer their time and serve without compensation.
Each year the Foundation has sponsored and assisted in numerous departmental fundraising and college-wide activities. Some of the activities are the Fashion Symposium, Athletic tournaments, sales of donated property, alumni activities and the Tools for the Trade program. The Foundation is pleased to have provided the means for various instructional departments to purchase numerous equipment and supply items for their programs. Television sets, VCRs, cafeteria equipment and a new quarry tile kitchen floor, computer related software, books, subscriptions, and shelving are among the many items too numerous to mention which have been purchased. The Foundation is also proud to have sponsored emergency loans and over $10,000 in scholarships to students each year.
Contributions are welcomed from individuals, corporations and foundations. For more information, please contact
