Board of Governors Fee Waiver
The Board of Governors adopted the fee waiver for eligible students to assist with the enrollment fee ($20.00/unit per semester). To receive this assistance, students must complete a Fee Waiver Application Form available here as a pdf file or at the Financial Aid Office. To download this form you will need an Adobe Acrobat plug in on your computer. Visit the Adobe web site for a free download.

Students must apply for a new fee waiver each year. The fee waiver year includes summer, fall, winter and spring sessions.

BOGW is Simple and Fast
The Board of Governors Waiver program is designed for speed and efficiency:

  • BOGW is a waiver program and does not require repayment.
  • BOGW is not tied to any other financial aid programs, so it can be processed quickly and you will be able to register immediately,
  • BOGW applicants will be asked to complete a Fee Waiver Application Form (Fee Waiver Application Form - Spanish version), that is available at the Financial Aid Office, the Information Center and in your printed schedule of classes, as well as the links on this page.

Eligibility for the Fee Waiver is determined at the time of submission of the application with the exception of a method C Waiver. A method C Waiver may take 5 to 7 working days to process.
