Governing documents of the LATTC ASO

** Students interested in vacant positions, please see Jearold Mock, ASO Advisor in C-105.

The major opportunity for campus student participation and leadership is the Associated Students Organization (ASO) and the other student groups it supports, including

  • Chess Club
  • Computer Club
  • Construction Club
  • Journeymen's Project
  • Parents Club
  • Science Club

The ASO has one representative on the College Council. A student representative sits on the equipment block grant committee (convened in 1996 to establish priorities for purchasing state instructional equipment during this fiscal year).

In addition, many of the vocational departments such as culinary arts, fashion design, and cosmetology sponsor student clubs and organizations.
