EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
- Auto Metal F building project is in the final stages of project closeout. Training seminars on the new security system and equipment were held for staff members of LATTC Facilities and Sheriff's Dept., as set forth in the contract documents. Operations and Maintenance manuals are being reviewed for final distribution to the Owner. Resolution of outstanding telephone/data issues are being addressed, as well as pending punch list items.
- The Modular Toilet unit was moved to the Construction Technology Yard project site and utilities hooked up in spite of inclement weather.
- F-Ramp 100% Construction Document package was submitted for DSA review on March 28, 2005. This brings the total number of South Campus projects currently under DSA review to two.
- A Letter of Intent to ARB, Inc. for award of the Olive Street Parking Structure design/build project is pending Board of Trustee approval scheduled for April 6, 2005, and culminates the ‘Best and Final Offer' phase for project contractor selection.
- Gymnasium building ‘G' and ‘J' 100% Construction Document package, together with the cost estimates were distributed to the CPM review team on March 21, 2005. The review period is scheduled for two-weeks with review comments due to the CPM by April 1, 2005.
- The CPM team moved into new office space on March 5, 2005. The CPM office is located at LATTC, 400 W. Washington Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90015. The phone numbers are unchanged. The new CPM office, now located in Room 14 of the Learning Resource Center building L, provides additional space required to maximize management productivity and accommodate project growth during construction.
