EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
• The second floor classrooms of the Auto Metal “F” Building are now being used by the students and teachers. Except for a few punch list items the construction is essentially complete. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on 2/24/05 and the construction of the 2 nd floor was officially accepted. This is the first construction project at LATTC and had a mix of Bond & Non-Bond project sections.
• The construction for the Construction Technology Yard (CTY) Project has been delayed for 21 days due to heavy rains. This is the second construction project at LATTC being managed by ACG/AVA CPM.
• The 100% CD document preparation is on schedule for the “F” Ramp Project and is planned for DSA Submittal early March 2005.
• For the Olive Street Parking Structure Design Build Project all activities including “Best and Final” Offer is on schedule and board action for contractor selection is scheduled for March 2005.
• Gymnasium Building “G” and “J” Project 100% CD Submittal has been delayed until 3/11/05 to incorporate all review comment resolutions prior to DSA Submittal. It is expected that the 100% CD will be received during the 2nd week of March.
• The CPM move to the LRC Basement is planned for the first week of March 2005. The construction progress is ahead of schedule.
