1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
- ACG&AVA is currently operating from the third floor of Building H. This is a 900 square foot space and is inadequate for the team. LATTC Management has approved for the team to relocate to almost 2,000 square foot space in the LRC Basement. The CPM team is preparing drawings and specifications for facilities modification with a goal to shift there in early November, 2004.
- On 08/24/04, ACG&AVA made a presentation to DMJM/JGM. This is a summary of present status and future plans incorporating "A and AA" bond projects. A similar presentation was made earlier to LATTC Management for their review and comments.
- LATTC Management has approved the CPM request to showcase project progress photographs along the wall next to Dr. Castro's office. The CPM is in the process of planning the display and will update the photographs every month.
- The CPM Project Controls Manager is working closely with DMJM/JGM Prolog Managers so that they can be trained to utilize the cost control module for the program.
- The Child Development Center project might be deferred until budget issues are resolved. The CDC was originally planned to precede the Olive Street Parking Structure but may now be scheduled to follow the Olive Street Parking Garage.
- The Final NOP for the 30 Year EIR is scheduled for release by late September 2004. The addendum to the 5 Year EIR is scheduled for BOT approval on 10/6/04.
