1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
- Proposition 'A' and 'AA' Bond Program rebaselining efforts continue. Guidelines for rebaseline were submitted to the CPM on March 24, 2004 and the construction schedule was finalized in a meeting on 4/13/04 with schedule codes for construction activities. The revised budget is anticipated to be completed by 04/30/04.
- Auto-Metal Building Package 1 work was completed on 4/27/04 and Package 2 is underway. Please refer to 'Section 2.0-Projects in Construction' for further details.
- The CPM completed three (3) RFCs to perform several pre-acquisition entitlements and studies like real estate appraisal, site assessment, ALTA Survey and Title report for nine (9) possible properties as part of LATTC East Campus Land Acquisition. These RFC's are scheduled for BOT approval on 4/28/04.
- The CPM also completed two RFC's for Christopher A. Joseph & Associates (CAJA) for the Addendum + 30-year EIR plan. It was approved by LATTC Administration on 4/01/04 and received BOT approval on 4/14/04.
- A representative of the Health Department is scheduled to inspect the commissary and Espresso/Cappuccino cart purchased by the college on 4/30/04 after which we will obtain permit to operate the cart on campus.
- LACCD Management is considering Construction Management at risk for the South Campus Projects. CPM has expressed concern about the effectiveness of this approach considering the advanced status of design. Several meetings are planned in the next few weeks to discuss advantages & disadvantages of this approach and arrive at a decision.

Schedule Status
