Fees, Parking, and Supplies

Enrollment Fee

California Residents Tuition Fee

Fall/Spring Semesters

  • Enrollment Fee: $46 per Unit
  • Health Services Fee: $19 per Semester
  • Student Representative Fee: $2 per Semester
  • Parking Fee - General Parking: $20 per Semester
  • Parking Fee - Preferred Parking: $27 per Semester
    • Olive Street Parking Facility – Entrance: Olive St., between Washington Bl. and 21st St.
    • Roof Lot (B1 ATM BuiIding) – Entrance: Southbound Flower St., between 22 St. and 23rd St.
  • Associated Student Fee: $7 per Semester

 

Summer/Winter Intersessions

  • Enrollment Fee: $46 per Unit
  • Health Services Fee: $8 per Semester

    ($16 effective Fall 2020)

  • Student Representative Fee: $2 per Semester
  • Parking Fee - General Parking Intersession: $10 per Semester

    ​For Summer & Winter Sessions, General Student Parking Permits are accepted in Preferred Student Parking areas

  • Associated Student Fee: $3 per Semester

 

Non-Resident Tuition Fee

Effective Summer 2009, the availability of Non-Resident Tuition Waiver is based on three additional factors:

  1. The student is a citizen and a resident of a foreign country;
  2. The student is legally precluded from establishing residency in California;
  3. The student has an individual financial need

All of the above three conditions must be met to qualify for a Non-Resident Tuition Waiver.

  • Out-Of-State Enrollment Fee: $289 per Unit

    ​$243 per unit + enrollment fee of $46 per unit

  • Foreign Citizens Enrollment Fee: $289 per Unit

    ​$243 per unit + the enrollment fee of $46 per unit; plus a $25 SEVIS fee

    NOTE: The I-Med fees for International Students have also increased to $600.00 for Fall and Spring Semesters.

Paying Fees

Students can pay their fees in one of three ways:

  1. Online (using the SIS – PeopleSoft)
  2. Bridges Office located in Student Support Center, D3-105 credit and debit card ONLY
  3. Business Office located in Administration/Services Building, E5 1st Floor Lobby cash or credit

Student Picture ID

**  Failure to pay fees will result in a hold on the student’s record which can prevent a student from registering  in classes the following semester. To avoid such holds students must make their mandatory fee payments within the first four weeks of their current semester or make additional payment arrangements with the Business Office located in Student Support Center, D3-105 ****

Associate Student Organization (ASO) programs are supported by a membership fee (see the Fees page for more details), available at the Business Office, for day and evening students. These fees are necessary to utilize ASO services. Any student, upon enrolling, is eligible to become a paid member of the Associated Student Organization. Associated Student Organization members are entitled to all rights and privileges, including preferred parking, loan application, dances, athletic contests, and all activities of the Associated Students.

Visit our College Store located in C4 Building, First Floor to purchase the books and supplies needed for your class.

Parking Passes

Purchasing Passes

All passes can be purchased from the Business Office located in Administration/Services Building, E5 1st Floor Lobby

Guests: Permit acquired froml Sheriff’s Office located in School of Design & Media Arts, D4-150 for one-time visits free of charge.

Available Passes

Preferred Student Parking ( $27 for Fall & Spring Semesters and includes ASO Membership) - as available:

  • Olive Street Parking Structure – Entrance: Olive St., between Washington Bl. and 21st St.
  • Flower St. Lot (Oak Hall) – Entrance: Southbound Flower St., between 22 St. and 23rd St.
  • 24th St. Parking Structure, 2nd through 5th – Entrance: 24th St., between Grand Ave. and Olive St.

General Student Parking ( $20 for Fall & Spring Semesters):

  • 24th Parking Structure, 6th Fl. (top level) – Entrance: 24th St., between Grand Ave. and Olive St.

General Student Parking ( $10 for Winter & Summer Sessions):

  • Valid in all Preferred and General Student Parking Lots.

PLEASE NOTE:  After 3:00 p.m. a student with any parking permit (general or preferred) is allowed to park in any designated student parking area (whether preferred or general).

Other Parking Items

Disabled Placards: Students and Staff members holding a valid disabled placard are allowed to park in any handicapped stall throughout the campus, but must also have a valid Student Permit or Faculty/Staff Permit displayed.

Motorcycles and Mopeds: No permit required; parking is restricted to motorcycle/moped parking area.

Bicycles: No permit required; bike racks are located throughout campus. (Bikes must be walked on campus.)

LATTC assumes no responsibility or liability for your car or its contents while parked in the lots. Also walking/wheelchair escort service only, is provided upon availability for students with physical or other limitations.
Note: This is not a shuttle service. Call the Sheriff’s Office at 213-763-3600 and an officer will be dispatched to your location.

Inquiries regarding the college’s parking program, parking rules and regulations, parking decal use and enforcement should be directed to the following offices during normal business hours: Business Office at 213-763-7225 or the Office of Administrative Services at 213-763-7040
However, LATTC Sheriff’s Station personnel are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist with parking decal use and enforcement issues.  Please call the Sheriff’s Office at 213-763-3600 .
