ENGLISH 21 ENGLISH FUNDAMENTALS (NDA) - 3 UNITS
Prerequisite: Successful completion of English 64 with a grade of
"C" or better or the placement process. English 21 emphasizes
grammar, sentence structure and writing well developed 3-5 paragraph
essays. A short research paper is included. Practice writing in the
rhetorical modes and writing for business are included.

ENGLISH 64 - INTERMEDIATE READING AND COMPOSITION:
BASIC SKILLS (RPT 1) (NDA) - 3 UNITS
English 64 focuses on basic grammar, sentence writing, paragraph development
and short essays. Students write descriptive, expository, narrative &
argumentative paragraphs.

ENGLISH 101 COLLEGE READING & COMPOSITION I (UC:CSU) (CAN ENGL 2) - 3 UNITS
Prerequisite: Successful completion of English 28 with a grade of
"C" or better or the placement process. English 101 is a
transfer level composition course that includes critical analysis, research
papers & extensive manuscript documentation.
