Progress On PFE Goals for LATTC

Goal 1 - Transfer

An increase from 217 in 1998-99 to 307 by 2005-6 in the number of students who transfer from community colleges to baccalaureate institutions.

 

 

Goal 1B - Transfer Prepared

An increase in the number of students who are transfer prepared from 622 to 791.

Transfer prepared is defined as the number of students systemwide who earned, within a six year period, 56 transferable units with a minimum G.P.A. of 2.00.

Goal 2 - Degrees and Certificates

Achieve an increase from 1,242 in 1997-98 to 1,720 in 2005-6 in the number of degrees and certificates awarded.

AA/AS subgoal: From 586 to 776.

Certificates subgoal: From 676 to 944.

 

 

Goal 3: Successful Course Completion

Achieve an increase from 66.63% in 1998-99 to 69.13% in 2005-6.

  • Subgoal for Transferable courses: an increase from 68.05% to 70.55%.
  • Subgoal for Basic Skills courses: an increase from 53.27% to 55.47%.
  • Subgoal for Voc. Ed. courses: an increase from 74.65% to 77.45%.

Goal 4: WorkForce Development

By 2005-6, achieve increases in successful course completion in the following areas:

  • "A" - Apprentice Courses: from 665 to 903.
  • "B" - Advanced-level Vocational Courses: from 3,330 to 4,519.
  • "C" - Introductory Vocational Courses: from 11,144 to 15,119.
