SOLDERING SURFACE MOUNT
TECHNOLOGY
A certificate of
completion for the Soldering Surface Mount Technology may be earned by
completing the required course listed below for a 3-unit requirement. This
course provides an introduction of through hole soldering technology as well
as principles of surface mount rework, show the range of specific equipment
used in that process and provide a framework for learning about various
rework methods. Recommended procedures for removal and replacement of
surface mount chip components are also covered.
