Technology
A technician must
be a jack-of-all trades. He must be an expert on everything from hardware
to the latest software. He must be patient with the ability to explain to a
customer why his computer does not work, and what must be done to fix it;
and do this with tact and diplomacy. Basically a technician is a problem
solver.
You can acquire the basic skills and
knowledge to earn the Microcomputer Technician Associate in Science Degree
here, in the Electronics Department, at
Los Angeles Trade
Technical
College.
This course will not only prepare you for an AS degree, but will also
prepare you for the A+ Certification exam, and help you to prepare for the
CCNA exam along with the N+ exam.
Requirement for the Associate in Science
Degree may be met by completing the required courses below with a grade of
"C" or better in each course and completing 18 units of general
education courses.
