LATTC Prepares to Submit Substantive Change Proposal to Accrediting Commission

In preparation for the upcoming accreditation report submittal and site visit, the College is also preparing to submit a Substantive Change Proposal to the accrediting commission (ACCJC).  Approval of a substantive change from the accrediting commission is required because the College now has 10 degree programs and 4 certificate programs in which 50% or more of the courses are approved to be taught online.  The draft of the Proposal was approved by the DDL Committee and will be forwarded to the Academic Senate for discussion/approval at its next meeting.
