The Unity Program support and advise African American Students and other students to receive their certificate of completion, AA or AS degrees and transfer. The Unity Program support students through counseling, personal development classes, the learning skills lab (English and Math), tutoring referrals and mentoring.

Learning Skills Lab – Unity Reading Skills Coordinator (Dr. Ayesha Randall)
- Aid students in the development of reading comprehension strategies
- Discuss family history literacy relationships
- Review reading acquisition skills
- Discuss the reading education culture
Personal Development - Unity Counselor (Kyle Skinner)
- Unity students will be exposed to college resources
- Introduce Unity students to matriculation rights and responsibilities
- Organize tasks involved when studying and the tools to maximize
- Unity students will integrates personal and professional growth through the development of effective communication skills, positive self-image and self-esteem, and strategies for problem solving and decision making.
- Unity students will research career planning using assessment of interests, values, skills, and temperament.
Mentoring
- Unity students will learn to ask challenging questions from their mentor
- Unity students will learn to accept alternative methods of practice seeking to encourage creativity and new ideas
- Unity students will learn to open dialogue with their mentor
- Unity students will learn to give back to the community
