Created by Prof. Jeffery Howe for Boston College students, this site includes images of buildings from the prehistoric period, Greek and Roman architecture, Romanesque and Gothic Churches, Medieval fortifications, architectures of the century – starting with the 15th century to present, and an archive of American and European architecture.

This searchable "collection of approximately 2800 lantern slides represents an historical view of American buildings and landscapes built during the period 1850-1920." It also contains "views of cities, specific buildings, parks, estates and gardens, including a complete history of Boston's Park System. Explores "achievements in architecture, engineering, and design in the United States and its territories through a comprehensive range of building types and engineering technologies including examples as diverse as the Pueblo of Acoma, houses, windmills, one-room schools, the Golden Gate Bridge, and buildings designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The Minneapolis Institute of Arts site features architects such as William Gray Purcell, George Grant Elmslie, Frank Lloyd Wright, and George Washington Maher, and “offers a closer look at the Institute's objects and those who designed them, as well as an extensive tour of the Purcell-Cutts house. […] Both the collection section and the architectural tours feature numerous historic photos, drawings, and architectural plans.”

This site provides a large collection of architectural photographs from the Renaissance and Baroque periods in Europe. “The images included in this collection were scanned from slides taken by Professor C. This exhibition "includes some of the most famous utopian [architectural] drawings of the twentieth century...and focuses on radical projects from the 1960s and the 1970s." The two major sections of this exhibition are Megastructures and Postmodern Roots . Architects include Peter Eisenman, R. Buckminster Fuller, Michael Graves, John Hejduk, Arata Isozaki, Rem Koolhaas, Paul Rudolph, James Stirling, Venturi and Rauch, and others.
