Los Angeles Trade-Technical College (LATTC) is a public 2-year community college centrally located on a 25-acre campus in Downtown Los Angeles. We gladly accept international student applications from all over the world.  Our college currently offers over 80 programs and students may graduate with an Associates Degree or a Certificate of Completion.  Many of our students also transfer to a 4-year university after completing their general education requirements.  One of the advantages of attending a community college before attending a university is that tuition is less expensive.

Another option for LATTC international students is to apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT) during  their last semester.  If USCIS approves the application, students may work in the United States for up to one year after completing their studies.

LATTC has a fully-staffed International Students Center (ISC) that houses a student lounge. Our college also has several bilingual counselors. Other student services include: the University Transfer Center, The Writing Center, tutoring, and the Career Center. Our helpful and friendly staff is here to help you succeed!

When students are not busy studying, Los Angeles is a wonderful place to discover. Our campus is located approximately 15 miles (24.15 km) from Venice Beach, 8 miles (12.88 km) from Hollywood, and 30 miles (48.30 km) from Orange County.
