Dear LATTC Student,
I am writing to update you with the latest information about our response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.
ALL CLASSES will be suspended from instruction starting this Monday, March 16 through Saturday, March 21. Spring break will move to March 23 – March 29. Therefore, no instruction or in-person student support services will be available for the next two weeks. Instruction will resume on Monday March 30.
We want to clarify that even though instruction and services are suspended next week, the college will not be completely closed. Essential safety and health services, such as the Student Health Center, will still provide services next week, but will be closed during spring break. Our Food Pantry will also be available to you on Tuesday March 17th, at its usual time of 10:30am to 12:00pm in The B-Plaza. If it is raining, the pantry will move to the ASO area in Bradley Hall C2-105. We will practice social distancing and take precautions with cleanliness. The Vernon-Central/LATTC Work Source Center will be open for business as well, if you need career guidance services.
The college will use this time to convert as many courses and student services possible to remote delivery. Also, during this time, we will thoroughly sanitize our facilities.
We apologize for this disruption, but your health and safety is our primary concern at this time of national emergency. As our students, you are our first priority. We will continue to update you regularly and do remind you to continue with healthy practices.
Should you have questions or concerns, please contact the college at: ysaisdp@lattc.edu or call 213 763-5560 and we plan to respond to all of your inquiries.

President, Los Angeles Trade-Technical College
