Hello LATTC Student, 

We hope you are getting settled in the new Fall semester. During these first few weeks, we wanted to provide helpful information in response to some of your frequently asked questions. Please see the FAQ below!

 

Fall 2022 | Frequently Asked Questions

 

Do I need a parking permit this Fall? 

During the Covid pandemic, parking has been available to LATTC students for free. Free student parking will also be extended through the Fall 2022 semester; however, a valid permit must be displayed on all vehicles in our parking garages.    

Parking permits are available for pick-up at the Business Office located on the first floor of the E5 building (service windows 11–15) during regular operating hours. 

Business Office hours: 
Monday–Thursday: 8 am–6 pm   Friday: 8 am–1 pm  

How do I get my Student ID Card? 

Complete your official LATTC student status with your student ID card! Bring a valid form of identification (Driver’s License, California ID, high school ID, passport, etc.), and visit Bridges to Success at the Hub (D3-105) to take your photo and receive your printed ID card. Students must be enrolled in Fall 2022 courses in order to receive a LATTC Student ID. 

Bridges to Success (D3-105) hours:  Monday–Thursday: 8 am–6 pm  

Am I qualified for a free Metro pass and if so, how can I get mine? 

LATTC students can enjoy fareless transportation on Metro and other participating systems through GoPass with Metro! Simply visit Bridges to Success to see if you qualify and receive your current semester sticker for your Student ID. You can then receive your GoPass at the Office of Student Life (C2-105). Visit Bridges to Succes and Student Life during their hours below.    Student Life (C2-105/Tom Bradley Center) hours:  Monday–Thursday: 10 am–12 pm; 1–2 pm   Bridges to Success (D3-105) hours:  Monday–Thursday: 8 am–6 pm

Monday–Thursday: 8 am–6 pm for in-person and virtual "Live Chat" assistance
